Process
Getting started with Hers Labs begins in the Hers app, where a provider reviews your request for eligibility before ordering the panel. Once approved, you book a blood draw appointment at a time that works for you — no mandatory video visit required. Testing happens in person at one of 2,000+ Quest Diagnostics locations nationwide, and the current plan lineup isn’t available to residents of Hawaii.

Treatment Effectiveness
A single Hers Labs appointment can screen up to 130+ biomarkers across ten health categories: heart health, metabolic health, hormones, thyroid, kidney and liver function, immune markers, nutrients, blood counts, inflammation/stress, and a Biological Age score built from 21 factors. Hers describes the panel as checking for signals tied to more than 1,000 conditions. As with any lab screening, Hers is upfront that results alone aren’t intended to diagnose, treat, or cure a condition — they’re meant to flag patterns worth discussing with a provider.
Additional Features
Advanced-plan members can retest roughly 45-55+ biomarkers every six months to track how their numbers are trending, and the Biological Age feature estimates how a person’s body is aging relative to their calendar age. Hers also offers an optional Galleri multi-cancer early-detection blood test as an add-on, which screens for signals of 50+ cancer types; availability varies by state and requires eligibility and a provider order.
Ease of use
Booking happens entirely through the Hers app, and the 2,000+ Quest Diagnostics location network makes it easy to find a nearby draw site rather than scheduling around a single clinic. There’s no requirement to complete a video visit before testing. Once results are in, they’re presented in the app in plain-language terms with an insights dashboard, rather than a raw lab report a member has to interpret alone.
Post-treatment Support
Every Hers Labs plan includes 24/7 in-app provider messaging, so members can ask questions about their results as they come in rather than waiting for a follow-up appointment. If a result comes back critical, a provider proactively reaches out. Each results cycle also comes with a doctor-developed Action Plan covering lifestyle guidance and, where eligible, access to prescription treatment based on what the panel shows.
Safety
Hers Labs testing is processed through Quest Diagnostics, an established national lab network, and every order is reviewed by a licensed provider before it’s approved. Hers is explicit that lab results alone are not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure any condition — they’re a screening tool, not a substitute for a full medical evaluation. The service also isn’t currently available to residents of Hawaii, and requires eligibility plus a provider order to proceed.
