HumeCare+’s Medications Safety Information page states that compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide are “not FDA approved and are not evaluated for safety, effectiveness, or quality standards,” and includes a boxed warning on the risk of thyroid C-cell tumors seen in rodent studies, along with contraindications for a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2, and guidance on pancreatitis, kidney problems, allergic reactions, and use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
