You then complete a medical intake form in the SnagRx patient portal, which a provider reviews, typically within 24 hours and often in under 5. If the provider determines treatment is appropriate, the prescription is sent to one of SnagRx’s partner pharmacies and ships via 1-day FedEx or UPS. If your prescription isn’t approved, SnagRx says you’ll receive a full refund. Refills follow the same pattern: message your provider through the patient portal when you’re running low, and they’ll review your dose and write a new prescription.

SnagRx’s site advertises that patients can lose up to 15% of their body weight, at a pace of 1 to 2 pounds per week, citing self-reported data from its own GLP-1 customers along with a disclaimer that results vary based on starting weight, diet, and exercise. We haven’t repeated that specific percentage as our own claim, since it’s a self-reported figure from SnagRx’s customer base rather than independently verified data.

SnagRx includes ongoing support from its own nursing staff as part of every plan, on top of standard provider dose reviews. Semaglutide plans include an anti-nausea medication alongside the GLP-1 injection. Shipments come from SnagRx’s four named 503A compounding pharmacies and are fully insured against loss, except when a patient provides incorrect shipping information.

The entire process is handled online: the initial health qualifier, medical intake, and refill requests all happen through the SnagRx patient portal. Provider chart reviews are typically completed within 24 hours, often in under 5, and we didn’t find any mention of an in-person or video-visit requirement anywhere on SnagRx’s site.

Doctors in SnagRx’s provider network are vetted to confirm they’re licensed to prescribe GLP-1 medications in each patient’s state, and SnagRx’s own medical director, a practicing physician, reviews both the doctor and pharmacy network. Medications are dispensed by 503A compounding pharmacies, which operate under state pharmacy board licensing and federal compounding regulations, including USP 795 and USP 797 standards.
